Javiera Charpentier

Associate

Bachelor of Law and Social Sciences from the Universidad de Chile’s Law School (2019).

Her practice focuses on Civil, Commercial and Labor litigation, Administrative Law.

She began her professional practice as a paralegal for the Corporate Law area at Bofill Mir Álvarez Jana Abogados (2015-2016). Later, she integrated as an associate lawyer in the Corporate and the Stock Market area at Jara del Favero & Ried Fabres Abogados, where she also coordinated the Pro-Bono area (2018-2019). Afterwards, she became a part of the litigation team of Parraguez & Marín (2020-).

In academic matters, she has been a teacher assistant to the workshop “Non-human animals as subjets of law” at the Universidad de Chile’s Law School (2016).

RELEVANT EXPERIENCES

She has advised pension fund companies, banks and other regulated entities on regulationstock markets, financing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, among other corporate law related matters.
She has advised local and international financing companies on due diligence processes, financing contracts, and the creation and regulation of pension funds in Chile.
She has represented and advised an important educational institution on regulatory matters and labor laws, representing it in several administrative procedures.
