Law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2012) and Master in Advanced Legal Studies from the Universidad de Barcelona (2019).
His practice focuses in civil litigation and arbitration.
He previously worked at Ferrada, Polanco y Póvez Abogado (2012-2017), at Parraguez y Marín (2017-2018) and at Lavín Abogados y Consultores (2020-2023). Joao rejoined our office in 2023.
In the academic field, he was an assistant professor of History of Law at the Law School of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2006-2015), of Introduction to Law at the School of Economics and Business of the Universidad de Chile (2011-2012) and of Criminal Law at the Law School of the Universidad Santo Tomás (2013-2015).
